My sweet baby boy turns 7 on Sunday. It is so hard to believe that it has been 7 years since the day he was born. My little girl was so excited when she found out that she was going to get a baby brother, until he actually arrived. She was not happy with him or me. E went to pre-school the next Monday told everyone, "Momma had a baby and now she's in jail." I have no idea where that came from. R's birth compared to E's was a breeze. R was a scheduled c-section and I got to pick the day. The only real surprise was his size. They measured his head a week before delivery and the doctor predicted that he would weigh about 14 lbs.! (no kidding) When he was born he only weighed 7lb.6oz. but had the biggest head you have ever seen! I do not exaggerate when I say that he looked like a bobble head doll. Poor baby, it took him 6 years to grow into his head. Big sister finally forgave me for having baby brother and they get along wonderfully (except for the occasional knock-down-drag-out). God has blessed me with two wonderful children and I pray that they will live long, happy lives for the Lord. I hope you all have a very wonderful weekend and remember that birthday cake is good for the soul!
Of course he had a big head! All Thompson children have very large heads! How are y'all celebrating R's birthday? When do we get to go to Chuck E. Cheese?
